In late March of 2005, Shirley and I had the pleasure of watching U2 open
their world tour in San Diego, California. The following day, we drove to
the Anza Borrego Desert and met Steve Barton at Bow Willow campground. He
had come up early to set up camp and await our arrival. Other friends joined
us as well: Maggie and Larry Beach from the San Bernardino area, RD from San
Diego, and Carl and Ellen Basile from Huntington Beach. Steve met us with
Martini glasses and quickly shook up a batch of ice-cold Manhattans.
We had a special dinner that night to be sure, and enjoyed it in some of
California's finest desert scenery.

Hey Larry, what're you doing?
We know.
