	Hi Laudizen,

My name is Dave Sibrinsz. I grew up on Hamlin St (off East Center St) in
Manchester, CT and graduated from High School there in 1961.  You may
have known some of my cousins that graduated from MHS after me, as I was the
oldest of the Sibrinsz kids in Manchester.

I left Manchester in 1979 for San Francisco & Bank of America & then on to
NYC with Citicorp & now to SC when I retired.

I did a Google on Deci's Drive-In trying to find their original chili recipe and saw
your article. I enjoyed it immensely, nothing like a walk thru the past.

Anyways, a quick note to fill in your info on "The Red Sox Dugout" and why
it was named that.   My uncle, Stanley Bray, also known as "Lefty"
Bray, was the original owner of the Dugout and he was a rabid Boston Red
Sox fan and friend of Ted Williams.  He bought a condo in Sarasota,
Florida in the late 40s-early 50s just so he could spend the winters there
for Spring Training with the Red Sox.

As kids, we spent a lot of time there, and before that he ran a string of
"one armed bandits" (aka slot machines) there and in many other hangouts
around Manchester that we (our families) would have to quickly round up and
get out of there when the State Police would raid those places. As a result,
I had a lot of them in the attic of our garage on Hamlin St. when I was
	growing up.

I remember Larry Liscotti when he started playing there (he was about 3
years younger than we were) and it wasn't long before he could spot everyone
45 out of 50 and still beat them in straight pool.  Best player I ever
	saw up close.

Thanks for the memories your article brought back!!

	Regards,
	Dave Sibrinsz
